The ACIQ Condenser, when matched with the ACIQ wall mounted air handler, has enough capacity for small to medium rooms. The dual rotary compressor and variable inverter technology give this system exceptionally high efficiency ratings.
Please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a DIY unit. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section on this page. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. The automated cleaning function will clean your system, but it is recommended to periodically clean the unit's filters manually.
Installation Considerations
Concealed duct system installations require additional supplies such as flex ducting, register vents, plenums, and installation supplies, in addition to the equipment components. The concealed duct units have a factory-installed pump to lift the condensation. From there, you will need to use PVC to construct a drain system to a safe wastewater location.
Overall, concealed duct air handlers provide a discreet and customizable option for heating and cooling your home, with minimal impact on your home's design and aesthetic.
