The ACIQ Condenser, when matched with the ACIQ wall mounted air handler, has enough capacity for small to medium rooms. The dual rotary compressor and variable inverter technology give this system exceptionally high efficiency ratings.

Please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a DIY unit. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section on this page. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. The automated cleaning function will clean your system, but it is recommended to periodically clean the unit's filters manually.

Installation Considerations

Installation of a ceiling cassette air handler requires the creation of a cavity in the ceiling to accommodate the unit. It fits between 24 on-center joists, but modifications to the framing structure may be necessary for 16 on-center joists. The unit also comes with an onboard pump to lift the condensation produced by cooling, which can be lifted up to 14 feet. To safely dispose of the condensation, a PVC drain system is necessary. The refrigerant and wiring connections are the same as those for wall-mounted units.
